Getting a tattoo is a big step, because it’s going to be on your body for the rest of your life. So shouldn’t you get a tattoo that is highly personal? If you’re a religious person, there are few better ways of expressing your faith than by getting a religious tattoo.

You should have no trouble finding a religious tattoo design – you’ll find plenty of them online and in local tattoo shops. Keep in mind, though that many of the designs you’ll find will be based on Christianity – you might have to look a bit harder if you want to find a tattoo design based on a non-Christian religion.

Of course, you’ll want to take a picture of your tattoo to share with family and friends. When taking your religious tattoo picture, make sure that you are using a camera with optical zoom – if the camera also has digital zoom, that feature should be disabled. Also, don’t use flash if you can help it – flash tends to wash out the colors of your tattoo, resulting in a poor quality picture.
